Activity: SHAC meeting

Time/Place: Monday, January 23 from 5-6PM, Memorial Room in the Memorial Union

Before attending the meeting, I was curious as to how many students would attend the meeting and the ideas the members would have for the year. The Student Health Advisory Committee is a group of 10-20 UND students. The topics discussed at last night’s meeting were Health Insurance, the Wellness Expo, and semester goals. Overall, I was impressed with the excitement and ideas brought forth by SHAC members. The group had great ideas to promote services offered through Student Health. SHAC fits within the occupational dimension as it is a foot in the door working with Student Health staff and having a better idea of what goes on within the clinic.
